After months of anticipation, the first ever Club Hillside car meet took place. Nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, Stirling was the perfect location for this gathering, with the surroundings reflecting to the name; Hillside.

From the get-go, we had always planned for Club Hillside to be a small gathering, pritortising quality over quantity. Within this, Club Hillside has a sense of exclusiveness, while also being inviting, inclusive and friendly. These qualities are what we strive for, and is a mixture that has proven to create an unmatched atmosphere never seen before in Adelaide.

While small in size, Club Hillside thoroughly made up for in quality. There were some truly incredible cars that were invited to our first meet, including a modified Audi R8, gorgeous McLaren 675LT Spider, top-spec Porsche 911 Carrera, brand new Audi RS3 and an immaculate Porsche 911 Targa.

First to arrive was the white 911 Targa. This example is of pristine condition, with hardly an original piece left untouched. It is truly one of the greatest early-era 911s in Adelaide, and it was a pleasure to have it and the owner along to Club Hillside.

What a pair these were. The Audi R8 and Porsche 911 Carrera arrived at the meet together, and boy, was this an experience for both sight and sound. These two don't mess around, with both cars being heavily modified. The Audi R8 is fitted with Vorsteiner Aero and an aftermarket exhaust, taking the aggressiveness up to the next level. The Porsche on other hand, goes for a more subtle approach. An incredible Inozetek Midnight Purple Metallic wrap clads the car, complimented by a set of bronze HRE wheels. What's not to love?

A fresh-off-the-production-line spec Audi RS3 also featured at the first Club Hillside. With an elegant white on black colour scheme, the RS3 showed off the latest and greatest that Audi has to offer.

Last but not least, who can forget the beautifully-menacing McLaren 675LT Spider? This is truly a staggering car. While left stock, the 675 is a head-turner, and features an abundance of carbon options and is overall an all-boxes-ticked spec. To top it off, a child booster seat sat in the passenger. The juxtaposition and surprise to see something like this planted in the cockpit of a 675LT is nothing less than iconic.

We are beyond excited for the next event, with locations circulating around the Adelaide Hills to keep things fresh. See you then!
