We all witnessed the incredible success of Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, claiming victory in the brand’s return to the race after a 50 year absense. Obviously, Lamborghini weren’t thrilled with this result, and hence, a new Hypercar was revealed. Meet the SC63, Lamborghini’s entrant to the 2024 World Endurance Championship, meaning that Lamborghini and Ferrari will battle it out on the treacherous tarmac of Le Mans among various other tracks.

The SC63 celebrates both Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary and the decennial mark of the Squadra Corsa division, focusing on thoroughbred racers. The Lamborghini SC63 will compete in the highest level of closed-wheel racing, and is Lamborghini’s greatest racercar ever made.

Featuring Lamborghini’s iconic Centro Stile platform, the SC63 incorporates recognisable design features and extends them to levels far beyond. A carbon fibre body and extensive aerodynamic systems ensure a blisteringly quick car, especially when paired with the limited 671bhp 3.8L twin turbo V8 and electric motor. Just take a look at the thing: bonkers. While the mechanical aspects and aerodynamic systems are not dramatically contrasting to the Ferrari 499P winner of Le Mans 2023, the design is unlike anything ever seen before. The three spoke, snake-tongue inspired head and tail lights will surely appear incredible as the night settles into Le Mans, with the hypercars tackling the most iconic endurance race in the world. Only two will be made, with ex-Formula One driver Romain Grosjean among Lamborghini’s driver list.
