Alfa Romeo Tonale

After leaked concepts and being delayed by COVID, the Alfa Romeo Tonale has made its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of speed. The Tonale will come with a variety of different engine platforms, including a 2.0L Inline-4 Turbo Petrol, 1.5L Inline-4 Mild Hybrid and a 1.3L plug-in hybrid Inline-4. With disappointing levels of driver inclusivity, the Tonale certainly gets a tick for its new gorgeous design. It is believed to arrive in Australia in the middle of 2023.

Alpine A110 Tour de Corse 75

The limited edition version of the A110, the Tour de Corse 75 has been revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022. With a 296 turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the car will make several runs up the Hillclimb for viewers to witness. Aston Martin V12 Vantage

Although the V12 Vantage originally was revealed in March 2022, it was seen at Goodwood making its public debut. With only 333 models wearing the V12 badge being made, Aston Martin has confirmed that this variant of Vantage will be the last to carry the 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12. Although it is a shame, it was bound to happen with manufacturers leaning towards electric platforms. This engine produces 690hp and is sent through an 8-speed semi-automatic gearbox to gain a top speed of 322kp/h.

BMW M3 Touring

Earlier this week, BMW revealed their all new M3 Touring. However on Day 1 of the Goodwood FOS 2022, the public got their first chance at taking a look. The Duke of Richmond, who is the owner of Goodwood House, got behind the wheel of the M3 Touring and gave it a blast up the hill, controlling the car well in the wet conditions. 503 horsepower is created through a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine with all power being sent to the xDrive all-wheel-drive system, keeping it planted to the tarmac. However, along with the basic 4WD setting, the M3 Touring can also be put into 4WD Sport mode, which provides a "more intense experience". DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) can also be disabled, letting the rear end get a little.....loose. In relation to the newly developed chassis, BMW says "chassis technology tuned both to the performance profile of the powertrain and to the specific vehicle concept of the BMW M3 Touring creates an ideal balance of sports performance and majestic ride comfort in everyday use and over longer-distance journeys." So its definite that the M3 Touring will be comfortable yet sporty, and perhaps in competition with the Audi RS6 and Mercedes-AMG C63 Wagon. It's capable of getting from 0-100kp/h in a mere 3.6 seconds, and reaches 280kp/h with the M Performance package and 250kp/h without. It's safe to say that the Duke of Richmond enjoyed this machine, as he sped up Goodwood Hill with a smile across his face. It has also been confirmed that the M3 Touring will be arriving in Australia, which is great news.

Czinger 12C

The incredible design of the Czinger 12C was officially launched at the Goodwood FOS of 2022, and there's a lot to get your head around. The Czinger is the world's first 3D-printed hypercar, and is powered by a twin-turbo 2.88 litre V8, that produces 950hp. Paired with two 112kW on the front axel, and in total has a horsepower of 1232 (approx.) This means that the 12C has close to a 1:1 power to weight ratio. Astonishing figures, and with the 12C hitting the roads in 2023, it's exciting to see how it will go against other hypercar competitors. But with a hefty price tag of 2.64m, we will have to cross our fingers to see these in the streets of Australia.

Lotus Emira GT4

The Lotus Emira GT4 racecar has made it's public debut at the Goodwood FOS. Here are some quick details about the hand-built cup car that screamed and smoked off the line at Goodwood. The car follows in the footsteps of the Evora GT4 car, and is fitted with a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine sending 405 horsepower to the rear wheels. Inside, racers are strapped in with an FIA spec roll cage and six-point harness. Sadly, the Emira GT4 will be Lotus' last production petrol-powered car, but Lotus has gone all out on the GT4. It has been reported that the Lotus can dive from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h. Keep an eye out to see the Emira GT4 take on international competitions later on in 2022 / early 2023.

Mercedes-AMG ONE

The newly launched AMG ONE was seen speeding up the Goodwood Hillclimb this weekend, at one point stopping outside of Goodwood House to activate Performance mode. Being essentially an F1 Car for the road, the ONE scampered up the hill with little effort, and crowds roared as the Mercedes test driver put on a show. It is sure to be a favourite of the 2022 FOS. Porsche 911 Sport Classic

Another public debut was that of the newly unveiled Porsche 911 Sport Classic. Seen elegantly speeding up the Goodwood Hillclimb, the Sport Classic is inspired by early model 911s. The car takes a step away from Porsche's current direction of over-the-top aero and sharp design, and instead replaces it with smooth, subtle and beautiful proportions. The feature that ties the 'classic' element of the Sport Classic is the gorgeous duck-lip spoiler, reminiscent of classic Porsches. The thing that makes this car so bewildering is the fact that it packs a seven-speed manual 3.7 litre engine producing 543hp, all sent to the rear wheels and packed in a classic style aerodynamic system. It's certain that the lucky 1,250 owners will enjoy their ownership of this car.

Radford Lotus Type 62/2

Revived by Ant Anstead and Jenson Button, Radford has made a come back, with the dynamic debut of the Radford Lotus Type 62/2. The 62/2 is a homage to the original Lotus Type 62 from 1969, and has been tested in Hethel, where Lotus's headquarters are located. Only 62 models will be made, all unique due to the high levels of customisation Radford has to offer. All 3 variants come packed with a V6 engine, and has a limited top speed of 299kp/h.
